Some of my finest :) "No more ponies!" ;)

Hi there!

I had a little "photo shoot" today with some of my favorite dolls... I tried to think of a happening, that could be a situation for my dolls, if they were "real people"...

This first one is Skipper... Teen Sweetheart Skipper from 1987.. I bought her a couple months ago from a seller in Finland via Facebook. I paid 10 Euro for her. :) I think one of my friends had this when we were kids. Anyways, I just love her! This "situation" is that Skipper is protesting against me buying lots of ponies (My Little Ponies G1 & G4) and she thinks I should instead buy more Barbies... ;)

Here she is sitting in a miniature shopping basket and continuing her protests... :P

Here is my favorite Sindy."Paint a Picture Sindy" from 1989. I have her from my childhood, but her head is loose, so this one I bought a few months ago from the same seller as Skipper. My name is Cindarella, nickname Cindy, so I took a picture of Sindy with my plate from the US of A, that I got in the year 2000 when I was visiting New York and D.C.

Here is my Pride and Joy: Totally Hair Whitney from 1991. I got this from my Dear Auntie as a gift. I was already "too old" to play with Barbies at the time, according to my friends and classmates... But thank goodness for my younger cousins, who I never did stop playing with Barbies with. I have been looking for this doll in a New Box, but I haven't found her yet. And before you say this is Teresa... Look at her lips! They are puckered! This is Whitney :) She is my most favorite Barbie in the whole Universe.

Thank you and good bye for this time, says Sindy and waves good bye! :)

Hello there, and Welcome! :)

Hi there! :)

So... Since I already have a blog about my My Little Ponies, I just figured I'd start a Barbie blog as well... I have been collecting Barbies all my life. Since I got my first Barbie, sometime when I was 3-4 years old. I never stopped buying Barbies! When I "stopped playing" with Barbies, I still bought them. And I never really have stopped playing with my Barbies. Sometimes I take them out of the closet, box, other safekeeping and just look at them, take pictures, brush their hair, fix them up a bit etc. I don't even know how many Barbies I have... And alas, when I was a teenager, I donated many many many Barbies to my cousins. Well, I might buy some of them online, in their original boxes or just in very good condition...

In this blog I'll be writing about all my Barbies, My Scene -dolls, Sindy -dolls, Daisy -dolls, Petra -dolls etc. I'll post about my "Holy Grails" etc. I have just learned from ebay and other sites, what my barbies are actually (or approximately) worth... WoW!!! :) I don't know yet, but I think my "Totally Hair Whitney" with the Steffie-face (puckered lips) is one of my most prized possessions... Thank you, auntie AB, for giving it to me when I was a little girl! Of course, I was almost 12 then, and according to popular opinion too "old" to play with Barbies! Bah, Humbug! I have never been and will never be, too old to play with my dolls! Just so you know ;)

I'll go snap some photos and add them soonish to this blog!

Live long and play with Barbies!!! :)
