Steffies and others...

Hi there! :)
We're back! Finally... I will try to post more often. Sorry that I have been MIA so long. I have gotten lots of new Barbies and dolls. Also, there are a LOT on their way, from Holland. I will let you know when they arrive...

On Saturday, the 9th of March, Barbie turned 60! She doesn't look a day older than 20, tough lol. We had a party with some of my fellow Barbie-collectors. It was sooo fun! More pictures of that later. We had a Barbie cake, pink champagne (alcohol free)... It was so fancy. My new friend organized the party. I am thinking of holding my own Barbie party later this year. Cannot wait! We're also having a Barbie party at my friends' place here in Tampere at the end of this month. It's gonna be fun! It will be my third Barbie party ever, and also the third in 2019 for me. One Barbie party per month, sound pretty good, huh? I love it.

Here is my newcomers and some that have arrived 1991-2019 lol.

Ultra Hair Whitney I got for Christmas in 1991 from my Auntie. She lived in Sweden then, so she got it from Stockholm. I had NO idea what a famous and precious Whitney would be in my life and in the world... She was my favorite as a little girl, because of her pretty make-up and her pretty face and lips. And of course... Her HAIR. Wow!

Then the rest of my Steffies I have acquired in the past two years. On Saturday I received Jewel Secrets Laura... She is in such a good condition!!! :) I just LOVE her! So happy...I also got Jewel Secrets Barbie and miss Yogapants curvy made to move. I love her too. Her haircolor is so pretty, and her face! Awww...

Now, that is quite enough. Here are some pictures.

To Barbie, 60 years young! Here's to the next 60!!! :)

Friday Fun! :)

Howdy!

Here are a few of my favorites for this Friday... YaY, it's the weekend!!! :)

Here are four of my favorites. First, there's the blu-and-black-haired Curvy Barbie, that I got from my aunt. Then there's my Childhood Favorite: Totally Hair Whitney (I got her too from my aunt, in 1992...) Then there's Gift Giving Barbie from 1985. I got her last week, I ordered her from Amazon. And last but not least is Skipper, Teen Sweetheart Skipper. Her I got from a lady at a Finnish Barbie collector page on Facebook...

I got Gift Giving Barbie in an unopened box!!! :) WOOOW!!! :) She is one of the Barbies I had as a child but I gave her away... Now I intend to collect all my dolls from my childhood, which I know are missing and also some favorites, in new, unopened boxes ;)
More later!!! :)

Some of my finest :) "No more ponies!" ;)

Hi there!

I had a little "photo shoot" today with some of my favorite dolls... I tried to think of a happening, that could be a situation for my dolls, if they were "real people"...

This first one is Skipper... Teen Sweetheart Skipper from 1987.. I bought her a couple months ago from a seller in Finland via Facebook. I paid 10 Euro for her. :) I think one of my friends had this when we were kids. Anyways, I just love her! This "situation" is that Skipper is protesting against me buying lots of ponies (My Little Ponies G1 & G4) and she thinks I should instead buy more Barbies... ;)

Here she is sitting in a miniature shopping basket and continuing her protests... :P

Here is my favorite Sindy."Paint a Picture Sindy" from 1989. I have her from my childhood, but her head is loose, so this one I bought a few months ago from the same seller as Skipper. My name is Cindarella, nickname Cindy, so I took a picture of Sindy with my plate from the US of A, that I got in the year 2000 when I was visiting New York and D.C.

Here is my Pride and Joy: Totally Hair Whitney from 1991. I got this from my Dear Auntie as a gift. I was already "too old" to play with Barbies at the time, according to my friends and classmates... But thank goodness for my younger cousins, who I never did stop playing with Barbies with. I have been looking for this doll in a New Box, but I haven't found her yet. And before you say this is Teresa... Look at her lips! They are puckered! This is Whitney :) She is my most favorite Barbie in the whole Universe.

Thank you and good bye for this time, says Sindy and waves good bye! :)
